REGISTER AND SEARCH

Register on our webisite auc.coral-net.jp and search for the car you want, our manager will contact you via E-mail or WhatsApp and answer all your questions, make calculations and show offers.

MAKE DEPOSIT

The deposits are 100% Refundable No matter what the result of the auction is, we won’t touch your auction deposit. You can use it for another auction, apply a refund, include in total cost of car or use it to pay for another car. it is all up to you! Deposit amount is 1500USD for cars with cost less than 20.000USD. For cars with cost more than 20.000USD, required deposit amount should be 10% from expected cost of car. It should be sent via TT-transfer from any local bank.

PLACE THE BID AND WAIT FOR RESULT

After receiving a deposit, you will be consulted how to chose lots, make bids, use sales statistics etc. Once your bid is set, we will make bidding in live auction for you and update you once we have results.

SEND PAYMENT FOR A VEHICLE

When the bid is won, you will be sent Invoice for a payment. Payment should be sent during 3-5 working days after buying date via TT-transfer. Once your payment reaches our account, logistics manager will contact you and collect all necessary data in order to organize shipment of your car to your country of destination.

How do I make a payment?

We currently only accept bank transfers (T/T) only. We do not accept credit or debit cards and other methods of payments. Note: Transfer charges are the client’s responsibility.

Where should the deposit be sent?

The details will be sent upon request by your personal assistant.

Do you take foreign currency?

You may send us payment in USD, JPY or EURO.

We only take bank transfers and do not accept LC.

What are the payment terms?

The vehicle should be 100% paid before the shipment. When the vehicle is purchased from the auctions full payment is required within 3-5 working days including the purchase date.

Do you offer credit?

No, we will only send your vehicle once the bank has confirmed your full payment.

SHIPPING & HANDLING

How much is shipping by sea?

Shipping by sea is subject to change in relation to oil prices and currency exchange rates.

It also depends on the season, the size of the vehicle, the type of shipment, whether it is a container 20-40 feet for several vehicles or a RORO in case of just one.

You CAN always consult the best and most reasonable way of shipping of your vehicle before making a purchase.

Is shipping guaranteed?

The cost of insurance is not included in the final price, but the shipment can be insured at the additional customer’s cost.

How long does it take to arrive to the port?

It depends on the port of destination. In general, it takes the shipments about three or five weeks in faraway ports once it has left Japan. We have connections with several shipping companies.

When will my car be shipped?

Your car is sent for shipment as soon as you make the first payment based on the payment terms decided earlier.

Are the customers informed about the shipment process?

Yes, Coral-Network always keep its customers informed and updated about the shipment of vehicle and dispatching of documents.

What documents will I receive?

  1. BL (Bill of Landing – surrendered copy or original)
  2. Invoice / Bill
  3. Export certificate (translated to English only if necessary at additional cost)

 

JAPAN VISA INVITATION

Some passport holders require a business letter of invitation to qualify for a Japanese travel visa. If you are planning a business trip and need supporting documents to obtain a visa, then here’s what we need…

a)  Scanned copy of valid passport
b) Company details, contact address, phone number & the applicants’ business role
c) Preferred travel itinerary and desired length of stay
d) Brief explanation of your travel purpose?

* Note: Any Japanese company or organization who issues the above documents must also assume the legal responsibility as ‘guarantor’ to that traveler for the full duration of their stay in Japan. For this reason, we require a bond-deposit of $3,000 (U.S dollars) which will be credited towards your first order of business.

COMMON QUESTIONS

You can place proxy bids, but the actual bidding is done by our trained bidders. We’ll set you up with a personal account where you can view the daily auctions.

Our auction access service is FREE however to place active bids you’ll need to pay a deposit of 100,000JPY (1000USD) or 10% of the bid value.

Access to car auctions is free. However, if you wish to actively place bids, then you’ll need to pay a bond-deposit of Y100,000 or 20% of your bid value. Your bond deposit will of course be credited towards your purchase.

Once you’ve paid the deposit, you can place bids and our trained staff will do the bidding for you. You can communicate with your personal assistant who‘ll happily help you with auction sheet translations and guide you through the process.

You may send a deposit via TT-transfer from any bank by the Invoice. Invoice for deposit with our bank account details will be sent you once you require for it via WhatsApp or E-mail.

Yes, you can refund your deposit before winning the bid. In this case we will return you 100% of your deposit. If you request refund of deposit after buying a car from Coral Network, then extra charges will appear and they will be deducted from your deposit.

You may cancel your bid, before the lot you bidded on has been played at least one hour in advance. If you want to cancel your bid after winning the bid, then extra charges for bid cancellation will appear.

If a car does not sell – we can negotiate the purchase via a service called shodan which in Japanese means to negotiate. The minimum offer must be 20,000 yen above the highest bid, which is then up to the seller to accept or reject the offer.

Yes, the auctions allow 1 hour (60 minutes) to cancel a car however they charge approx. 75,000 to cancel. (actual amount varies depending on auction) – After the allocated 60 minutes cars cannot be cancelled.

For ro/ro shipped vehicles, our FOB fees are on a slide scale depending on the auction purchase price; 0 ~ 600,000 = Y85,000 FOB 600,001 ~ 1 mil yen = 100,000 FOB 1mil yen ~ 1.5 mil yen = 125,000 FOB 1.5 mil yen ~ 2 mil yen plus

Drayage is the cost to transport a container form the port to our yard for loading, and then returning it to the port ready for shipping. Drayage cost Y110,000 per container regardless of size.

Yes – but the cost to ship 1 bike on its own is expensive and not viable – Japan domestic sales welcomed.

Yes, we specialize in shipping full container loads of motorcycles. Depending on size, we can fit approx. 30 – 40 units in a 20ft and 80 plus in a 40 footer. We’ve shipped to East Timor, Beirut, Dominica, Cambodia, Maldives etc.

Yes, we are auto parts specialists and can supply both NEW and USED parts. All of our parts are genuine factory products. We do not sell knock off or replica parts.
