WHY TO BUY FROM AUCTIONS
AMOUNT OF CARS
There are almost 200 different Japanese auction houses located all over Japan with more than 10.000 vehicles playing every day except Sunday.
More than 100.000 vehicles are being export from Japanese auto-auctions to all over the world every month. So, you have lots of cars to choose from.
LOW PRICES
Cars from auctions are being sold “as it is” (not washed, with small or big issues) and they have very different condition (from non-running condition to almost a new one).
Which means you can buy a car for an almost every budget. The only thing is that condition will depend on price. The lower condition, the worse condition. The better condition, the higher price.
SAFETY
Used car dealers get their stocks from auctions by buying cheap, damaged etc. cars and sometimes forget to mention it and just wash the vehicle and make Pre-selling procedures. On the other hand, each lot in auction has auction sheet which is done by auction inspectors. All the auction houses use united system of assessment and according to vehicle condition give auction grade, grade of interior and grade of exterior for each car. Also there notes of inspector in the auction sheet if there are any modifications, extra-equipment, accident history or any other issue with a car.
So, you will have clean vision of on what you are bidding. Since there are almost 200 auction houses, competition level is high and reputation is the everything. That’s why auction houses always try to fill auction sheet very carefully and sometimes very strict with evaluation of lot condition. Otherwise, in case of discrepancy Auction sheet description and vehicle’s actual condition, customers just won’t buy from such auction house and will use another ones.
